Playroom Makeover

I am in the process of turning what used to be a little study nook

...into a playroom/guest room.

I still have a long way to go, but I'm getting there.  Our bedroom had so much unused space, so it now has become the master bedroom/office.

Here is the progression of the playroom and the add ons to my to-do list.

Aren't these desks great?  They were mine and my brother's when we were little.  I tried the writing on the wall idea found here, but to say it looked terrible is an understatement.

I found this chair at the thrift store for $3.  Would have been a great deal if I didn't spend triple that trying to find the right spray paint color.

Noel used a kit for hanging pictures and put this up in a few minutes.

Hopefully within the next couple of months I can get everything completed!

Have a fantastic weekend!

I think I am confused because someone else mentioned I didn't have my email linked up on my blog...I have a contact button on my home page...But I did just get a blog make-over so hopefully it works now. So you are a master teacher? Impressive!! I'm going to Houston this summer to take some classes at a summer intensive. I think one of the guys teaching is Eddy Ocampo...Have you heard of him? I looked up some of his choreography on youtube and liked his stuff. Pretty contemporary (from what I saw). What style do you teach?

So cute! I love those desks and am sure they will get played with a lot. I would love to find something like that for my boys
